In this session, you will learn how paras can support both students and teachers utilizing Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant Plus in their virtual classroom.
  • Remote Learning Using Fast ForWord – Overview for Parents of Elementary Age Students
  • For parents of elementary students, this 30 minute session followed by a question and answer session will give an overview of how Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant Plus can be done at home. Parents will receive information on how these components can help their children increase their reading skills and their ability to attend to tasks, practice self-regulation, build working memory, and process more efficiently.
  • Remote Learning Using Fast ForWord – Overview for Parents of Middle School and High School Students
  • For parents of middle school or high school students, this 30 minute session followed by a question and answer session will give an overview of how Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant Plus can be done at home. Parents will receive information on how these components can help their children increase their ability to attend to tasks, practice self-regulation, build working memory, and process more efficiently.

Set up weekly automated emails

The program makes it easy to communicate with parents/caregivers when students are working remotely. Watch the first video to learn how to set up an automated email report. You will be instructed to select the Fast ForWord Weekly Growth report and/or the Reading Assistant Plus Selections report. The next two videos explain how to read these reports and you can even copy and paste our email templates into your automated email which include links to these two videos.
